4-N-Butyl Resorcinol is pharmaceutical intermediate which is intended to be used for topical formulations that are prescribed for treatment of hyperpigmentation. It appears as off-white to yellow colored powder with molecular formula C10H14O2 and molar mass of 166.22 g/mol. This chemical compound works by inhibiting tyrosine kinase enzyme for exerting therapeutic effects. It is also used in cosmetics industry for preparation of skin whitening creams. 4-N-Butyl Resorcinol is highly pure in nature and shows boiling point of about 300.7 degrees Celsius.
